Meaning:
O Mother! Abhayamba! Mother to all creation! I am your slave!
You are manifest as the nine yoginis, worshipped by Indra, Vishnu, Chandra, Kubera and other personalities! You transcend Sankhya yoga and manifest in Raja Yoga! You are the object of Shiva’s delight! You reflect the soul to the enlightened! You reside at the core of the Sri Chakra! You are manifest as the self!
You are that Yogini who enables one to concentrate on the eight-fold yoga comprising yama, niyama and
others!
You are that Yogini who enables one to discard interest in worldly objects!
You are that Yogini who enables one to wake up the coiled Kundalini and make it climb through the lotuses of Muladhara,
Manipuraka and others and finally pierce the knot at the base of the brain called the Brahmarandara and
finally unite with the Sadashiva who is seated on the lotus of thousand petals! This causes the supreme
nectar of bliss to seep through all the nerve centres and veins and gives an unsurpassed bliss that can be experienced and cannot be described! You give us the unsurpassed delight of realising the true meaning
of wealth!
You are the mother of the eternal Subrahmanya!
You are the cause of the five aspects of creation!
