Meena. A unique exclusive three-hour television show starts at 1000 hrs. Meena is accompanied by many more Kollywood stars including playback singers
Manicka Vinayagam, Tippu, Srilekha, actors –
Arun Kumar, Pandiarajan, Alphonsa, Sibiraj, comedians – Santhanam and Lollu Sabha team on this exciting journey.
The concept revolves around Meena who is a fairy who wants to travel through time. As she lands in each era in a chronological manner, the entertainments starts! She joins some of the best performing artistes in TN and brings glamour and verve to these six half-hour segments.
For starters, she enters the era of the great Tamil sage
Thiruvalluvar. She talks to him about his life and times and presents options to make it exciting. She zaps up some entertainment to bring zing to his life. Thus the entertainment is in the form of Thirukural in the form of rap and in a remixed version performed by eminent fusion musician Paul Jacob, Chinnaponnu and Dr. Gunasekaran. It also features popular traditional folk musicians like
Vijayalakshmi, Navaneetha Krishnan, et al. Finally, Meena dances to the tunes of a popular medley. So join MEENA’s time machine this Tamil New Years Day!
