Charubala Trust
The
'Sangeetha Kalapraveena' title was conferred on Vidwan K R Kedaranathan and
mridanga vidwan T K Murthy by the Charubala Mohan Trust in Chennai recently.
Nadopasana R Srinivasan, who
presided over the function, presented the titles to them.
The function was held in
Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz.
This was followed by the
release of a cassette composed by music director V Dakshinamoorthy. He also
rendered the songs.
At the end of the function,
Madurai G S Mani rendered a vocal concert.
He was accompanied by G
Bharathi on the violin and K Skanda Prasad on the mridangam.
