Undercover operations at Connemara
Undercover operations are known to be quite thrilling. But this one is going to be more than just that. It is going to be rocking, rolling, rousing and kicking when Undercover, the popular Chennai-based western music band will take centrestage at the Oakshott Bar at the Taj Connemara at 7 p.m every Friday, starting October 31, 2003.
The five-member band known for their impeccable music and inimitable style will rock audiences at the Oakshott Bar until December 19, 2003.
According to R Pashupathy, General Manager, Taj Connemara, “The Oakshott Bar at the hotel has always been considered a great place to chill out. We wanted to give the place a new dimension in terms of its entertainment content and we are sure Undercover will live up to our expectations of giving our guests a rollicking time.”
Formed in June 2002, the band comprises David Pascall (lead vocalist/percussionist), Michael Williams (bass guitarist/vocalist), David Fernandez (guitarist/vocalist), Maynard Grant (drummer/percussionist) and Mark Wilcox (keyboards). Indoor auditoriums, open air stadiums, star hotels, pubs, multiplexes, beach houses – they have performed all over and wowed the audiences everywhere with the ease with which they dole out numbers in the different genres of music including pop, rock, reggae, funk, dance, latin, blues, rock ‘n roll and country.
But, it is only when you actually get to see them perform live and listen to them singing songs of international artistes that you realise it is little wonder that they are called Undercover!
