Jus Drums
 Last year, this time, 30 drummers were virtually baptised in
Chennai. They were just the kids next door, who had decided to spend their summer holidays learning drums under the tutelage of well-known percussionist
Murali
Krishnan.
Within three months, they were skilled enough to give a live performance at Vani Mahal - watched by proud parents among others in the audience. Murali has decided to carry forward the tradition, and, has invited Chennaivasis to watch his next batch or students perform live at the same Vani Mahal venue July 18, Sunday, at 6.30 p.m.
Abaswaram Ramjhi, an ace drummer himself, will be the chief guest.
