Kamal's way of injecting humour
Trust
Kamal to think of novel ways to build a hype around his under-production movies. If one goes by the creativity and the intelligence that goes into the pre-release strategies, Kamal stands way ahead of his colleagues in the industry.
Many in the film industry received a package July 12 containing a large syringe with a plaster wrapped across it. Some might have wondered if a new virus was being sent across the state. Or if a package, intended for a polyclinic, had reached the wrong person.
A closer look revealed that the syringe had a pic of Kamal Hassan on the cover, and that the plaster carried the words 'Sakalakala Doctor'. On opening the parcel, the syringe had an invitation as a wrap-around.
It was an invite for the audio release of Kamal's forthcoming film 'Vasool Raja MBBS', slated for July 14, in Chennai.
The scroll had pics of Kamal -- with heroine
Sneha, Prabhu and a baby -- and one can guess that a laugh-riot is round the corner.
The event over the release of the film's audio CD (music by
Bharadwaj) itself could bring the roof down. By the way, the novel invite idea -- was it Kamal's or director Saran's? We will know for sure on July 14.
