Responding to Sudharani Raghupathy's observation that she was often described as ageless though she was a grandmother, the Governor pointed out that it is a general perception that a woman is not seen as old, at any rate is not seen as more than 29 years old. Sudharani, in that context, looks only 29, he said.

Bharat Kalachar secretary Y G Mahendra said he was a grandfather too but no one said he was just 29 years old. The 34-day mela at Bharat Kalachar till January 14 would be a cultural feast, he added. An attraction this year would be the canteen of Arusuvai Natarajan, he said.
