 It's not only in his films that he likes to change his face. In Singapore, when the 'Vikram Star-Nite' was on, Vikram came dressed as a Sardarji. And while everyone was wondering who the guy was, he leapt on to the stage and took the mike.
"I am Vikram," he announced to the wonderstruck audience, and before their amazed eyes, he started removing his false beard, long hair and 'pagadi', et all. The whole hall resounded with applause. One actor who sure knows how to woo his fans is Vikram!

 It was Sneha's still that was there in the invite for the launch of Arjun-starrer 'Jaisurya'. But with Sneha protesting over the inclusion without her approval, a search is on for a heroine. Now it's Laila who's been signed up for the female lead. There's reportedly yet another heroine in the film, and it's Chaya Singh, the grapevine says.

Shanker picks Harris
 The Shanker-A R Rehman combination seemed an inseparable one, with Rehman scoring the music for all Shanker films, from 'Gentleman' to the recent
'Boys'. But for his new film 'Anniyan', a Vikram-starrer, Shanker has replaced his favourite composer with Harris
Jairaj.
The duo have gone to Hong Kong to record the songs. Harris, once labelled a clone of Rehman, has since emerged as a composer in his own right. And with Shanker opting for him, he's certainly hit big time!

Prem back to movies
 Prem, producer-director-actor of films such as 'Krodham', 'Veeramani' and 'Vettrikarangal', returns to films after a gap. Prem is producing, directing and playing the hero in a new film titled 'Ashoka'. A suspense thriller, it is to be shot in Delhi, Salem, Coimbatore, Ooty and Coonoor among other places. Whatever the fate of the film, Prem's earlier ventures were slick and fast-paced, and with subjects that were different from the routine ones. This should prove to be diferent too.

 After 'Vaanam Vasapadum', cinematographer-director P C Sriram has planned another film titled 'London Cooly Rangan'. The story is to be penned by PC's friend Jaiyendra, his partner, too, in their advertising company, J S Ads. PC's films - 'Meera' and 'Kuruthi Punal' - have been different and engaging. His 'Vanam Vasapadum' is awaited with anticipation. And news about his next venture is welcome news for PC's fans.

Srikant trains as commando
 Srikant plays a commando in his new film, 'Bose'. The hero had reportedly gone to Delhi, and with special permission, taken 20 days' training to prepare himself for the role. With 'Jhoot' getting him good reviews, Srikant seems to be opting for action-oriented roles.
'Bose' is about an army man who returns to his native place, witnesses the injustice around him and uses his experience in the Army to bring justice to the people. With all this preparation, the role should be an exciting one to watch out for!
