Satyaraj enters politics

With Satyaraj getting appreciation from the critics and audience for his portrayal of a don-in-love film, 'Adithadi', his career is looking up. Apart from playing the mentally challenged man in 'Azhagesan', the hero is playing a politician in a new flm titled 'Suyechai MLA'. Keeping him company in a glamourous role is Manthara, while the female lead and the rest of the cast are being finalised.

10 heroines in one film

Director Sushi Ganeshan is onto his third film. Titled 'Karuppan', it has Madhavan playing the male lead. Sushi is planning to introduce 51 new faces in the film. There are to be 10 female leads, some of them known faces, some of them freshers. The director's earlier films, 'Virumbugiren' and '5-Star' were not big hits. But this time he's making sure that he hits the jackpot.

Sadha compromises

It was a "no-no" for glamour and exposing where Sadha was concerned. The actress was very particular about that, accepting only offers that had her play the traditional girl. But she seems to have made an exception for her new Kannada film, 'Monalisa'. The promos and the songs show her in quite glamorous outfits, a bit revealing too. What had made her change her mind? Sadha attributes it to be 'persuasive power' of the film's director, Indrajit.

A mixed-role for Manorama 

Manorama is all excited about playing a role she has not played till date: that of a eunuch in 'Kavithai Kelungal'. The unit, including its director Indran, is all praise for the actress and her dedication. Manorama too is reportedly equally thrilled about getting to do a role she hasn't handled before.
