Fans frenzy
There was a tussle between the fans of Ajit and Vijay when their films were released during Deepavalii. Again, in a skirmish among Vijay's fans, one of them got killed, with Vijay declaring that he would close down his fans association if this happened again. Is it the frenzied fans who are to blame or the stars who don't mind encouraging them to group around them when they want to prove a point to their rivals?

Trisha's humble beginnings
Everyone thinks that 'Lesa Lesa' was the first film that Trisha signed. But the model-turned-actress, with her winsome smile, had made brief appearanes in a couple of films earlier. Like 'Jodi', the Prashant-starrer, where she played Simran's friend. But unlike other actresses, Trisha is not one to deny it. So, now director Praveenkant can take credit for introducing the charming beauty to the big screen!

What's up,
Kartik?
Seems like Kartik has gone back to his old ways. Kartik, who's always had plum acting offers falling in his lap despite all of his films proving duds at the box-office, and there being complaints about him harrassing the producers and playing truant during shoots. Kartik, who got to play the lead role in Thangar Bachan's new film ''Thendral', lost it to Parthiban. And a role which went to Prabhu Deva in the new Vijaykant-starrer was initially to be played by Kartik. If Kartik only brushes up his act, he could well give the younger heroes a run for their money!
