QXSystems centre in Chennai
 QXSystemsTM, a leading global provider of high-technology software solutions for the mobile workforce that is independent of location and space, announced in Chennai the launch of WorkACE, a next generation intranet/extranet application integrating business process implementation and enterprise knowledge management online. The new tool would effectively catalyse and support collaborative works spaces. It is to be noted that the product is being launched globally for the first time.
Coinciding with the product launch, the company also
announced that it has set up an India engineering centre in Chennai with an initial investment of over Rs 10 crore which played a key role in the development of the tool. Plans are to grow current employee strength from 30 to 500 over the next 15 months. Necessary investments would be made aligned with this growth and talent additions.
 Speaking after the formal launch of

Providing details of the India engineering centre, Anil Bakshi, GEO, Asia-Pacific, said, "The India engineering centre is just the beginning in an increasingly larger role the country will play as a development resource and as a key market for QXSystems. The workforce is expected to spurt significantly over the next 15 months to employ around 500 professionals. To further reinforce our development needs, we will expand the sub-contractor universe from two companies we work with here currently to possibly more in the immediate future."

Currently, it staffs 30 professionals, which is expected to grow exponentially.
