OrangeScape Technologies, one of the leading software product companies in the country, highlighted their new technology while introducing 'DimensionConnect' at SAP
TechEd '06 in Bangalore on November 9, 2006.
For SAP TechEd '06, Bangalore is the final frontier for this year, which was started in Las Vegas in September 2006. Over the past two months, more than 15,000 software
developers, business process experts, consultants, IT managers and SAP partners from throughout the SAP ecosystem have participated in the various SAP TechEd '06
conferences held at Las Vegas, Tokyo and Amsterdam to deepen their knowledge and build relationships.
Mani Doraisamy, senior architect, OrangeScape Technologies, addressed the gathering of Information Technologists consisting of developers, administrators, IT managers,
analysts, SAP Partners, consultants and ISVs among others at the event to showcase their latest innovation DimensionConnect.
DimensionConnect is an SAP XI Adapter that enables codeless integration between SAP applications and OrangeScape's flagship product Dimension. More and more
companies are adopting Dimension to rapidly develop and maintain applications that are specific to a company/industry but are not fulfilled by SAP business solutions.
Using DimensionConnect, SAP customers can integrate these applications with SAP in a short period of time.
Mani said, "A majority of today's applications is developed for user consumption. When the integration need arises and other applications have to consume it, a new set of
integration points have to be developed, making the last mile integration difficult. With DimensionConnect, you can easily configure these integration points and use it
directly inside SAP XI, which differentiates it from other adapters."
He added, "Since Dimension uses a rule-based development approach (BRE) and spreadsheet like editor to capture the business rules, business owners and consultants
are able to develop applications in a very short period of time. Therefore, it is very important that we deliver the same speed on the integration front. That way we are happy
that DimensionConnect has delivered on this promise, by solving the last mile integration problem elegantly."
