Shiv Subramaniam
 Shiv Subramaniam is a ninth grader from Lawrence, Kansas, a small midwestern town in the middle of the USA. He started learning Carnatic Music informally from his grandmother at the age of three and is currently trained by Mrs. Vani Sateesh of Orlando, Florida. Shiv comes from a family of musicians. His great grandfather, Prof. N. S. Ramachandran, is a composer of Carnatic music whose compositions are found in the book Sangeetha Pushpanjali. One of Shiv's ambitions is to learn and deliver Prof. Ramachandran's compositions in concerts. This is the third year that Shiv has participated in the Cleveland Music Competition. Shiv is an Honors Student at Bishop Seabury Academy, Lawrence. His other interests besides music include Tennis, Forensics and Chess.
