DIAMOND BISCUITS
Ingredients
BOMBAY RAWA FLOUR 1 CUP
PEPPER POWDER OR CHILLI POWDER OR AJWAIN ( AS PER TASTE )
SALT TO TASTE
GHEE 1 TEASPOON
WATER FOR KNEADING
OIL FOR FRYING
Method:
- MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL AND KNEAD INTO STIFF DOUGH USING A LITTLE WATER.
- KEEP ASIDE 5 TO 10 MINS
- DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO 8 EQUAL PORTIONS.
- USING A GREASED ROLLING PIN ROLL OUT EACH PORTION INTO A THIN ROUND ROTI.
- USING A PIZZA CUTTER OR A SHARP KNIFE CUT THE ROUND PORTION INTO SMALLER DIAMOND SHAPED SECTIONS.
- THESE DIAMOND BISCUITS ARE COOKED IN MEDIUM FLAME TILL GOLDEN IN COLOUR.
DRAIN, COOL AND STORE IN AIR TIGHT VESSEL FOR CRISP DIAMOND BISCUITS.
