An amazing Hair Show
Bounce – Style Lounge, the unisex salon for the entire family bounced into action on 12th February 2004 with an amazing display of Hair Show with more than 10 popular models from Chennai and Bangalore participating in the event.
As one entered the second floor of Ispahani Centre in Nungambakkam, there was a deafening roar, matched by the clapping of hands and the stomping of feet as models gyrated to hep rhythm, to launch the salon. The din was not the kind of welcome one got at Chennai for most events. Another proof that Chennai is fast changing.
Vikram and
Prarthana, the brother-sister duo did an excellent job in complementing the models with long, medium, and short hair with colours matching the skin tone and life style. Prominent models like Shamsad Lun, Aru, James and Chris participated from Chennai and from Bangalore Jackie Bestowich, Manisha, Rachel, Apoorva, Sunny Nambiar, Shakeel, Najeeb and Rahul Shetty. Each one of them is renowned in modeling or compering or as a TV artiste, some of them being popular through Radio Mirchi and other FM
programmes.
Balaji and Freddy Koikaran compered the show in their inimitable style and drove home the fact that hair styling is done with a customized flavour suiting the clients' life style, personality, hair texture and face structure.
Bounce – specializes in hair styling, hair colouring, perming, permanent straightening and offers the latest trends in hair cut, both national and international. The Hair Show was ample testimony to the fact that hair dressing is basically an art and a highly creative profession. It is not only just a flat cut but also involves other factors like colouring, movement, texture besides adding shine to the hair.
The maestro of Tamil film music,
M S Viswanathan, who churned out melody after melody in the sixties and seventies, had turned up to greet the salon launched by his grand-children. Surely, he must have realised that the next generation had arrived. "Ithellam namakku illai", he said with a chuckle. The good sport that he is, he stayed right till the end, encouraging his grand-children.
