 Tradition seems to be the name of the game as Genesis has launched its new line of chambray shirts. The new range is targeted at the fashion conscious executive who appreciates the elegance and heritage of the classical chambray shirt.
Chambray derives its name from Cambrai, a picturesque French city, which saw the genesis of the fabric. Chambray is a plain woven fabric which incorporates a colored warp and white filling yarns. It is the fabric used to make the traditional blue work shirt.
The new line of shirts come with a mid cutaway collar, the current rage the world over. This new collar ensures that the tie knot is more prominently displayed. When worn with Genesis ties, the combination is striking.
The shirts come in a range of interesting and refreshing colors like orchid, blossom, almond and of course, perfect blue.
