 The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, took time off his busy schedule during his recent visit to Chennai to launch a new brand of Genesis shirts.
The CM made a brief visit to the showroom in Pondy Bazaar, looked at a few shirts and then posed for media photographs as he launched a new line of formal shirts from Genesis called The Corporate Edge, which the company claimed was the right workplace accessory when the weather is warm.
The shirts priced at Rs 690 to Rs 750 have come in the finest Italian fabric and are available in refreshing shades, said Suhail Sattar, Partner of Hasbro, which manufactures the shirts.
"It is a proud moment for us that the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir visited our showroom. We take this as an opportunity to celebrate the fact that we adhere to quality and value", Sattar said.
Hasbro has two manufacturing units, one in Chennai and another in
Bangalore.
The CM bought three shirts of the new brand. Three shirts from deep down south will travel all the way to the country's northern part, Kashmir, and adorn the chief minister's wardrobe there.
