Franco
Fumagalli, the famous Italian make-up expert, was brought to India specially for the Lakme India Fashion Week with Liberty 2003
(LIFWL 2003). He has worked with the world's famous personalities, including Cindy Crawford, Kim
Basinger, Heather Locklear, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Lane amongst others.
Franco held the audience spell-bound right from day one. He created a stunning, traditional Indian look on the former Miss India Nafisa Joseph using the new range of Lakme
WaterColours. Franco started his day by giving Nafisa Joseph a very traditional Indian look, made possible by the exciting range of completely water-based make-up from
Lakme. He transformed her Western look and gave her an Indian look that did justice to her inherent beauty.
Franco followed this up with a workshop on international make-up trends and products for summer. To showcase the new range of make-up from
Lakme, Franco recreated the look on Lakme model Yana Gupta. He started with using a light green and blue eyeshadow from the Lakme WaterColors limited edition palette. He then outlined her lips with the new water-based lip pencil and filled it in with the new lip tints to complete the look.
