 There
was a time when the only coffee shops in town were the Nair tea
bunks near the bus stands. For frest fruit juices, one had to resort
to the juices dished out by the restaurants. Chennai had no separate
coffee shop or juice shops to speak of.
But those days are a distant memory
now! We have come far and how! Coffee shops, ice cream parlours,
speciality fresh fruit shops and what nots! We even have a tea
centre selling all sorts of tea - you can find Chinese, Indian and
even Mexican tea here! Times are a'changing, won't you say?
