Set foot here and the interiors transport you to the rural plains of North India - there are thatched roofs, lanterns hanging from the ceiling and waiters sporting typical North Indian outfits. Glancing at the wooden book-like menu, the inscribed varieties set your mouth watering and you know you're in for a real treat. Its specialty is North Indian cuisine, so you can start off your meal with 'jal jeera', 'chaats' and 'pakoras', and move on to the 'shorba' or soup varieties like chicken, lamb or 'dal. 

Of course, 'tandoori' items like 'kababs' of chicken, 'gosht', 'reshmi' and' malai' are an essential part of the North Indian diet as are fish items like 'machi hariyali' and' machi amrisari'. There are a host of 'murgh' and 'gosht' delicies like 'kadai murgh', 'murgh dilruba', gosht kaalimirchi' or 'badamgosht' to accompany the 'rotis', 'parathas' and 'kulchas'. The vegetarians can take their pick from the numerous 'dals' and 'subzis' like 'dal tadka', dal panchratan', 'milijuli subzi', 'punjabi kadi' and panneer makhmali' pulaos, raitas, salads and 'mithais' will complete your meal. 

Says Mr. Santosh, proprietor, "We also have executive 'thalis' (veg. and non-veg.) and we have not changed anything according to South Indian tastes - it's typical North Indian food. 'Sanjha Choolha' also offers separate menus (including Chinese cuisine) for outdoor catering, take-aways and weddings. They do business lunches for clients like Citibank, GMR, Kothari, Ashok Leyland, Apeejay Business Centre, etc. They even have a banquet hall that can be used for parties to accommodate around 70 guests.
