Blessed with Mother Nature's breathtaking beauty, protected by mountains which are clothed in baby soft clouds, a star shaped lake set in a divine environment, Kodai is an ideal romantic spot where aspiring poets and writers alike can let their imagination run free.

Nature is at her most beautiful where the ochre earth covers herself in emerald silk.  That is studded with gems of sheer glittering water.  The mist is her shawl, covering her with mystique and magic.  And  amidst all this is , you, the nature's own creation.  The place is Kodaikkanal, secludedly situated at 2133 metres above sea leverl, in the beautiful Palani Hills.

Cavemen habitat at Kukkal Caces 940 kms) and Dolmen's Circle (22 kms) are famous pre-historic, archaeological sites.  You can see no cave man today.

Shenbaganur Museum (5.6 Kms).  is easily one of the best orchidoriums in the country offering the visitor, more than 300 species of orchids.

The Kurinji Andavar Temple (3.2 kms) is dedicated to Lord Murugan.  It also offers the worshipper a beautiful view of the northern plains and the Palani Hills.
