Airline Loses Oscar Statue in Mix-Up

Pavel Talankin, the director of the Academy Award-winning documentary Mr. Nobody Against Putin, claims his Oscars statuette has gone missing. The ordeal began when TSA agents at the airport insisted he put the trophy in checked luggage. Despite following their instructions, the airline later reported that the bag containing the award was lost.

Talankin expressed frustration over the situation, explaining that the statue had been with him for years and held significant sentimental value. He emphasized how disappointed he felt about losing such a cherished item, especially one tied to his film’s recognition at the Oscars.

The airline has yet to confirm whether they’ve found the lost luggage or if it was mistakenly delivered elsewhere. Talankin is hopeful they’ll locate the trophy soon, but for now, he remains without his prized possession.
