Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Earns $88 Million Holiday

James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash dominated the long Christmas weekend, earning a huge $88 million over four days. Of this, $64 million came from the standard three-day weekend.

Although these numbers are slightly lower than the original Avatar at the same stage, the movie is still performing extremely well. It earned another $181.2 million overseas, bringing its global total to $760.4 million as of Sunday. This includes $217.7 million from domestic (U.S.) theaters and $542.7 million from international markets.

With a full week of holiday screenings still ahead, experts predict that Fire and Ash could cross the $1 billion mark by the end of next weekend. Fans continue to flock to theaters to experience the stunning visuals, thrilling action, and epic storytelling that the Avatar series is famous for.

Overall, the film’s strong performance shows that audiences are still captivated by James Cameron’s world of Pandora, making Fire and Ash one of the biggest holiday hits of the year.
