Hollywood Celebrates 93rd Christmas Parade with Celebrities

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Thanksgiving is over, and Christmas is almost here.
Hollywood celebrated the holiday season with the 93rd annual Hollywood Christmas Parade,
supporting Marine Toys for Tots.

Many celebrities and local officials joined the 3.2-mile parade, which started at Hollywood
Boulevard, went to Orange Drive and Vine Street, then south to Sunset Boulevard, and
ended back at Orange.

Actor Luke Wilson, known for movies like Legally Blonde, Old School, Idiocracy,
and The Royal Tenenbaums, was the grand marshal of the parade.

Actor Anthony Anderson, famous for the ABC show black-ish, was named Humanitarian
of the Year for his charity work, including organizing the Anthony Anderson Celebrity
Golf Classic.

Anderson said, “I am very happy to receive the humanitarian award at this year’s
Hollywood Christmas Parade. It’s a huge honor, and I’m thankful that my charity
work is recognized by such a respected group in the Hollywood community.”
