R Madhavan has created a special place for himself in many film
industries, not just one. He has worked in Tamil cinema, Bollywood,
and with great directors like Mani Ratnam and Rajkumar Hirani. Next year,
he completes 30 years in the film industry. But Madhavan says he has a
strange fear that becomes stronger every time he starts a new movie.
In an interview with Mirchi Plus, he openly talked about this anxiety:
“These days, whenever I go on a film set, I feel very scared. On the first
day, I feel like everyone is looking at me and thinking, ‘Maddy is
finished,’ or ‘He doesn’t know how to act anymore.’ This feeling keeps
getting worse with every film. I even feel like my assistants are watching
me and thinking, ‘It’s time to work with someone else; he doesn’t know
anything.’ This fear keeps growing with each movie.”
