Paramount has agreed to meet with California Attorney General Rob Bonta and the Writers Guild of America (WGA) beginning October 14. The discussions are expected to continue for two days and will focus on possible ways to resolve lawsuits challenging Paramount’s proposed $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.
The planned talks follow the filing of a court document related to the legal challenges surrounding the proposed deal. The meeting could provide an opportunity for the parties to discuss their concerns and explore whether the disputes can be resolved without further legal action.
