Salim Khan, the father of actor Salman Khan, has been admitted to the hospital for the past few days.
The legendary screenwriter was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he suffered a minor brain haemorrhage. Doctors quickly attended to him, and he underwent a surgical procedure to treat the condition.
Dr. Jalil Parkar, who was treating Salim Khan, informed the media after the surgery, saying that the brain haemorrhage was minimal. He added that a procedure called DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography) was performed in the morning to address the issue.
Officials at the hospital confirmed that the surgery went smoothly and that Salim Khan is currently under careful observation. Family members and fans have been expressing their support and wishing him a speedy recovery.
