The late arrival of the fast train to Arakkonam by 20 to 30 minutes has exacerbated commuter frustration. Senthil, a regular commuter, highlighted the lack of responsiveness from MMC station staff and the challenge of boarding due to platform constraints.
The Chennai division of Southern Railway assures rectification of the issue, following intervention by Divisional Railway Manager Vishwanath Eerya. Steps to operate fast suburban services on the fast lane are underway, aiming to alleviate commuter hardship swiftly.
