AIMIM MLA Urges Evacuation of Indians Stranded in Sudan

Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, an AIMIM legislator from Malakpet constituency in Hyderabad, has appealed to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar for urgent steps to evacuate 70 Indians stranded in war-torn Sudan. In his letter to the Union Minister, Balala highlighted the dire situation of these individuals, including women and children, who have been stuck in Khartoum city for the past year.

Stressing that these stranded individuals, hailing from Telangana, lack any means to return to India, Balala requested the Central government’s support for their repatriation. He urged the minister to address the matter on humanitarian grounds and enclosed a list of the stranded people with their passport details and contact numbers.
