AISF Protests for Youth Issues, Rejects ‘Aadudam Andhra’

Members of the All India Students’ Federation (AISF) held a demonstration on December 27, demanding that the government address pressing issues such as filling vacant posts, releasing funds for pending mess bills, and maintaining hostels. In a symbolic protest, the students engaged in cricket and kabaddi, stating, “We are not interested in Aadudam Andhra, but Adugudam Andhra.

Where are the jobs for youth? Where are the funds for hostels?” The AISF criticized Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of attempting to divert attention from crucial issues ahead of elections with initiatives like ‘Aadudam Andhra.’ AISF leaders emphasized the deteriorating situation, highlighting the non-payment of salaries to indoor stadium coaches and the poor quality of sports equipment provided to students.

They underscored the challenges faced by unemployed youth, forcing migration in search of jobs, and urged the government to promptly address their concerns.
