Former BJP Tamil Nadu president K. Annamalai on Wednesday accused the DMK
government of purposely sending a faulty Detailed Project Report (DPR) for
the Coimbatore and Madurai Metro projects. He said this after sharing what
he claimed was the full letter from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs
(MoHUA).
He also said that the state government shared only a small part of the letter
to make it look like the Centre rejected the project unfairly.
In his post on X, Annamalai said the full letter shows how the Tamil Nadu
government handled the DPRs poorly so that they would get rejected, and then
blamed the Union Government for it.
