APCC Former President Gidugu Rudra Raju Enters Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha Race

Former president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), Gidugu Rudra Raju, filed his nomination papers from the Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha constituency on April 22. Raju’s candidacy adds to the electoral competition, with BJP’s D. Purandeswari and YSR Congress Party’s G. Srinivas also contesting from the constituency.

Accompanied by prominent leaders like M.M. Pallam Raju and N. Raghuveera Reddy, Raju led a nomination rally in the city, emphasizing Congress’s contributions to Rajamahendravaram’s development, including the establishment of the Rajamahendravaram airport and Adikavi Nannaya University. Raju’s nomination rally, marked by a multi-faith prayer, received support from Congress candidates across various Assembly constituencies and other political parties in the region.
