Arsenal’s impressive season continued as the team booked a place in the English League Cup final at Wembley Stadium. The London club defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the second leg of their semi-final match on Tuesday (February 3, 2026).

Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the match in stoppage time against his former club. His late strike secured the win for Arsenal in front of their home fans. With this result, Arsenal won 4-2 on aggregate over the two legs and advanced to the final.

It has been a long time since Arsenal last won a trophy, with their most recent title coming in 2020. Now, under manager Mikel Arteta, the team is enjoying one of its best seasons in recent years.

Arsenal is currently leading the Premier League table by six points and is pushing hard to win the English league title for the first time since 2004. The team has also performed strongly in Europe, finishing at the top of the Champions League standings after winning eight matches in a row.

With success in multiple competitions, Arsenal fans are hopeful that this could be a special season filled with silverware. The upcoming League Cup final at Wembley gives them another big chance to lift a trophy.
