Arsenal Wins 2-1 Against Slavia Praha in Champions League

Arsenal continued their impressive start to the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League season with a 2-1 victory over Slavia Praha. The match was played at the Fortuna Arena in Prague. This win extended Arsenal’s unbeaten run and helped them move higher in the league standings.

Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres scored the goals for Arsenal. The team has now secured three wins from its first four matches. Slavia Praha scored a late goal through Wiktor Nowak, but it was not enough to prevent Arsenal from winning the match.

With this victory, Arsenal has reached third place in the standings with 10 points. They are behind Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Real Madrid, who have 12 points each. Arsenal’s strong performances in the opening matches have put them in a good position to qualify for the round of 16.

Arsenal still have four matches remaining in the league phase. The team will look to maintain its strong form and secure a place in the next round. Slavia Praha, meanwhile, is facing difficulties in the competition. The Czech club has collected only one point and is currently in 34th place.

Slavia Praha’s next match will be against SK Artis Brno in the Czech First League. Arsenal will return to domestic action with a Premier League match against Hull City.

Arsenal currently lead the Premier League standings with 24 points from nine matches. They will aim to continue their winning form in both domestic and European competitions.
