Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Thursday denied reports of an outage, saying its
services were working normally. The company said the best way to check service
status is through its official health dashboard.
Earlier, many users in the US and India reported problems with AWS, according to
outage-tracking website Downdetector.
AWS responded on X, saying, “No, that’s false. AWS services are operating normally
today. An event elsewhere on the internet caused some wrong reports on social media.
The only place to get accurate information about our services is the AWS Health Dashboard.”
Downdetector reported that over 4,300 users in the US faced issues, with reports
peaking around 7 am IST. In India, about 25–30 users reported problems, mostly
in cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi.
