Bahrain Makes 41 Arrests Over Alleged Iran Links

The Interior Ministry of Bahrain has announced the arrest of 41 individuals who are suspected of having links to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to officials, the arrests were made after security agencies uncovered what they described as a network connected to the IRGC operating inside the country.

Authorities said the group was under surveillance for some time before action was taken. The investigation also includes individuals who are believed to have supported activities linked to Iran.

Security forces are now continuing their probe to find out the full extent of the network and whether more people are involved.

The ministry has stated that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty of participating in illegal activities or supporting foreign-linked operations against national security.

These arrests come at a time when tensions are rising in the Gulf region due to ongoing conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The conflict reportedly escalated after February 28, increasing security concerns across the region.

Officials also noted that Bahrain was among several Gulf countries that faced threats or attacks linked to Iranian actions, particularly in areas where U.S. military bases are located.

Security agencies in Bahrain remain on high alert as investigations continue, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
