The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has entered into a partnership with Muthoot Fincorp for the title sponsorship rights of Indian cricket until 2028.
The agreement will come into effect from India’s upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against the West Indies, which is scheduled to begin later this month. Muthoot Fincorp will become the title sponsor as part of the new commercial partnership.
The agreement will give Muthoot Fincorp branding opportunities around India’s bilateral international cricket matches. The partnership is expected to provide the company with greater visibility among cricket fans across India.
The BCCI already has several brands associated with its bilateral cricket events. Campa, SBI Life and ChatGPT are among the existing sponsors connected with Indian cricket.
The latest partnership is part of the BCCI’s wider commercial programme surrounding India’s international matches. Additional sponsorship and commercial partnerships could also be announced in the coming period.
India’s upcoming ODI series against the West Indies will therefore mark the beginning of the new title sponsorship arrangement. The partnership is expected to remain in place through 2028, covering India’s bilateral cricket commitments during the period.
