Professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, better known by his ring name Pac, has died at the age of 40. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) announced his death on Sunday night, September 27, 2026. The company did not provide a cause of death.
Satterley was a well-known name in professional wrestling and also competed in WWE under the names Adrian Neville and Neville. He built a career spanning more than two decades and was known for his high-flying style, athletic ability and performances in the ring.
Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his professional wrestling career in 2004. He competed for several wrestling promotions in the United Kingdom and later performed internationally, including appearances in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor and Dragon Gate.
He joined WWE in 2012, initially performing as Adrian Neville in NXT. During his WWE career, he won the NXT Championship and later moved to the main roster, where he became a prominent performer in the Cruiserweight division. He also won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
After leaving WWE in 2018, Satterley returned to wrestling under the name Pac. He became one of the early major signings of AEW in 2019, where he went on to win multiple championships. He was the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, a title later renamed the AEW International Championship, and also became a two-time AEW World Trios Champion.
Pac’s death came shortly after he had competed at AEW All Out in the Chicago area on September 26. He faced Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship in the opening match of the pay-per-view.
AEW expressed its condolences to Satterley’s family, friends and fans, remembering his career and contributions to professional wrestling. The organisation highlighted his innovative high-flying moves, in-ring ability and performances around the world.
