Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered a brilliant ball that came back sharply into Pathum Nissanka during a match.
Nissanka tried to move across and play the ball on the leg side, but he missed it completely. The ball hit him in front of the stumps, and the fielding team immediately appealed for LBW (leg before wicket). However, the on-field umpire did not give him out at first.
The bowling side then decided to take a review. When the decision was checked using technology and ball-tracking, it showed that the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps.
As a result, the umpire’s decision was overturned, and Nissanka was given out LBW. He was dismissed for just 1 run off 2 balls.
