Chennai is seeing a partly cloudy day today, November 14, 2025, with
pleasant temperatures between 23.6°C and 28.5°C. This comes after
yesterday’s poor air quality, when the AQI reached 176 because of high
PM2.5 levels.
The city is getting ready for a week of changing weather. Light rain is
expected on November 15 and 16, and again on November 19 and 20. Heavy
to very heavy rain is likely on November 17 and 18, and rain on November
18 may cause some waterlogging in low-lying areas.
During the week, temperatures will stay below 30°C, giving residents some
relief from the usual heat. People are advised to take care because of
the remaining air pollution and to be prepared for the upcoming rainfall.
