Chennai Mayor R. Priya led an area sabha meeting in ward 74 of Thiru. Vi. Ka. Nagar, addressing residents’ concerns and civic issues. During the meeting, residents emphasized the need for the installation of CCTV cameras to enhance surveillance in the locality. Additionally, they requested improvements to playground infrastructure for the upcoming summer holidays and highlighted the damaged streetlights in the area.
Coordination enhancement between the Greater Chennai Corporation and Metrowater was urged to improve water supply and sewerage network efficiency. Mayor Priya instructed officials to address the reported civic issues promptly, as these area sabha meetings occur quarterly for residents to discuss and resolve local concerns.
