Cristiano Ronaldo Visits Al-Nassr Game Near Return

Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted at Al-Nassr’s King’s Cup match against Al-Diriyah in Riyadh. The Portuguese star has recently rejoined the Saudi club after Portugal’s FIFA World Cup campaign but hasn’t played yet this season.

Ronaldo, 41, scored three goals at the 2026 World Cup before Portugal was eliminated by Spain. After the tournament, he received an extended break before returning to Al-Nassr for the new season.

He married longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez in Portugal on August 11, just before resuming training with Al-Nassr. The wedding took place during his break from club football following the World Cup.

Reports suggested Ronaldo might miss Al-Nassr’s early matches due to his extended absence. Al-Nassr’s fitness team is working hard to get him back in top shape. Ronaldo also had a 90-minute training session on August 14.

Despite returning to training, he wasn’t part of the squad for Al-Nassr’s opening league match against Al-Fateh on August 15. The club won 3-0, with Ronaldo watching from the stands. His absence was linked to his late return and limited preparation time.

Ronaldo is entering what could be his final season in football. He recently told Vogue he might retire after the 2026-27 season, leaving behind a “spectacular legacy” after nearly 25 years in the game.

He also revealed plans for a future filled with travel, padel, and spending time with family after football. Ronaldo has already announced his World Cup 2026 would be his last international appearance.
