De Kock Joins Kohli and Warner in T20 Centuries Club

South African star batter Quinton de Kock has reached another major milestone in his T20 career. The left-handed opener has now joined Indian batting legend Virat Kohli and Australian star David Warner among the players with the most centuries in T20 cricket.

De Kock achieved the milestone while playing for the Barbados Tridents in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). His team faced the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in an exciting match.

De Kock produced an excellent batting performance and scored 106 runs from just 57 balls. His innings included 11 fours and six sixes. He maintained a powerful strike rate of 185.96, putting the opposition bowlers under heavy pressure.

His century took his total number of T20 centuries to 13, according to the figures provided, putting him alongside other leading T20 batters. Chris Gayle remains at the top with 22 T20 centuries, while Babar Azam is next with 13.

De Kock has also been one of the most consistent run-scorers in T20 cricket over the years. He has scored more than 12,800 runs in the format and is now getting closer to the major milestone of 13,000 T20 runs.

His overall T20 record includes an average of around 31.30 and a strike rate of 139.78. He has also scored numerous half-centuries, showing his ability to regularly make important contributions for his teams.

De Kock Leads Barbados to a Huge Total

In the CPL match, de Kock played a key role in helping Barbados post a massive 217/4 from their innings.

He received good support from his teammates. Zachary Carter scored a valuable 57 runs, while Sherfane Rutherford added 26 runs. The strong batting display gave Barbados a high total and put pressure on St Kitts and Nevis.

However, despite the huge score, St Kitts and Nevis produced an impressive chase. Their batters attacked from the beginning and kept the required run rate under control.

Johnson Charles was the main star of the chase. He scored an excellent 78 runs and played a major role in helping his team reach the target.

St Kitts and Nevis eventually completed the chase and won the match by six wickets. Charles was named Player of the Match for his important contribution with the bat.

Another Milestone for De Kock

Although Barbados lost the match, de Kock’s individual performance was one of the major highlights of the game. His century once again showed why he is regarded as one of the most dangerous T20 batters in world cricket.

His ability to score quickly, find boundaries and perform under pressure has made him an important player in T20 leagues around the world. He has played in several major domestic T20 competitions and has built a strong reputation as an attacking opening batter.

With the 13,000-run T20 milestone now within reach, de Kock could soon add another major achievement to his career.

The latest century also places him among some of the biggest names in T20 cricket. Players such as Chris Gayle, Babar Azam, Virat Kohli and David Warner have dominated the format for many years, and de Kock’s latest achievement shows his place among the game’s leading T20 run-scorers.

While his team will be disappointed with the six-wicket defeat, de Kock can take confidence from his outstanding individual performance. Cricket fans will now be watching closely as he continues his T20 career and moves towards the 13,000-run mark.
