Developing Storm May Become Cyclone Senyar

Meteorologists are watching a low-pressure area forming over the Indian Ocean,
which is getting stronger and may turn into a big cyclone. The India
Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that if it reaches cyclone level,
it will be named Cyclone Senyar. The name “Senyar,” which means “lion,” was
suggested by the United Arab Emirates under the official cyclone naming system
for the North Indian Ocean.

Right now, experts are tracking the system to check wind speeds, possible
rainfall, and the direction it may move. It could affect areas like the Strait
of Malacca, the Bay of Bengal, and parts of southern India. Authorities have
issued warnings to people living along the coast and to fishermen, asking them
to stay safe as the weather system develops.
