Around 4,000 metric tonnes of diesel, equal to about 4.7 million litres, have reached the Parbatipur Receiving Terminal Depot in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. The fuel was transported from India through the India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline.
The pipeline was developed to support fuel transportation between the two neighbouring countries. It provides a direct route for moving petroleum products and is an important part of energy cooperation between India and Bangladesh.
