DRI Seizes 362 Tonnes of Pakistan-Origin Dry Dates
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized more than 362 metric tonnes of dry dates originating from Pakistan as part of Operation Deep Manifest. The action is part of the agency’s efforts to detect illegal trade, prevent smuggling and ensure that imported goods follow Indian regulations.
The DRI carried out inspections as part of its operation to identify suspicious or improperly declared cargo. The dry dates were reportedly found during checks at different locations and checkpoints.
