Grateful Anuj Rawat Reflects on RCB Days with Kohli

Gujarat Titans wicketkeeper-batter Anuj Rawat shared his gratitude for his time with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), calling it a “dream come true” to share the dressing room with batting legend Virat Kohli during the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Rawat played for RCB from 2022 to 2024, contributing significantly to the team. Known for his aggressive left-handed batting, he appeared in 22 matches and scored 318 runs, including a half-century. His standout performance was a 66-run knock against Mumbai Indians in 2022.

After leaving RCB, Rawat joined Gujarat Titans in 2025 and was retained for the 2026 season. Reflecting on his RCB journey ahead of GT’s match against their former franchise, Rawat expressed how it was a memorable experience to play alongside Kohli.

“Sharing a dressing room with Virat Kohli was one of the best moments of my career,” he said. “It felt like a dream come true.”

In IPL 2026, Gujarat Titans are fifth in the standings with four wins and four losses. Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Kohli, remain second with six wins and two losses.
