Two robbers looted a jewellery shop in Vijayapura, Karnataka, by threatening the staff and customers with country-made pistols. The incident caused fear and panic in the area.
According to sources, the robbers came on a Bullet motorcycle. They wore black jackets, gloves, and helmets to hide their faces and avoid being identified. The shop belongs to Mahadrudra Kanchagar.
The men entered the shop, pointed guns at the staff, and told everyone not to move. They forced the employees to stay quiet and took all the gold ornaments quickly. The customers inside were also scared.
After stealing the jewellery, the robbers ran away from the spot. The robbery was recorded on a nearby CCTV camera. Police are checking the video to find the suspects and follow their route.
Police have registered a case and started an investigation. Teams are searching for the robbers and have increased security in the area.
