The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) recently announced the results of the ICSE (Class X) and ISC (Class XII) exams for 2026. Over 3.6 lakh students from India and around the world took part in these examinations. The overall pass rate was extremely high, with more than 99% of students passing in both classes.
Girls performed slightly better than boys in both ICSE and ISC exams. In the ISC (Class XII) exam, the pass percentage for girls was 99.48%, while for boys it was 98.81%. The overall pass rate for ISC was 99.13%. Similarly, in the ICSE (Class X) exam, the pass rates were also very high, with girls leading again.
The results show a consistent level of achievement across all students, reflecting the hard work and dedication of both learners and educators.
