IFFI 2025 Concludes with Grand Celebration

The 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025 will end today in Goa
with a big closing ceremony. The event will pay special tribute to famous actor
Dharmendra. The festival started on November 20 and featured more than 240 films
from 81 countries.

Many important guests will attend the closing ceremony, including Goa Chief
Minister Pramod Sawant, I&B Ministry Secretary Sanjay Jaju, and festival chairman
Shekhar Kapur. At the event, superstar Rajinikanth will also be honoured for
completing 50 years in cinema.

During the festival, several masterclasses were held by well-known filmmakers
and actors such as Shekhar Kapur, Rajkumar Hirani, Aamir Khan, Ramesh Sippy,
Muzaffar Ali, and Nagarjuna. The festival also remembered legendary filmmakers
like Guru Dutt, Raj Khosla, and Ritwik Ghatak.

Tonight, awards like the Golden Peacock, Silver Peacock, and the ICFT UNESCO
film award will be presented. Everyone is excited to see which film will win
the Golden Peacock.

The 56th IFFI truly celebrated the magic of cinema, bringing together filmmakers,
actors, and movie lovers from across the world.
